ADAPTABILITY

Rotation can reinvigorate or revolutionize your layout.A spinning pendant can alleviate
space considerations: with 180-degree movement, workers and/or robots only have to be on
one side of the track for increased, ergonomic efficiency and better use of your floorplan.

Rotation can be utilized at variable speeds, running as slow as .3 ft per minute (fpm) to 60-90 fpm.
If the belt is running rapidly, we can rotate at a slow rate to stabilize parts –

AFFORDABILITY

We excel at building complex and sophisticated solutions, but sometimes the best machine
is the one with the fewest parts. With rotation, we can eliminate unnecessary controls,
motors, limiters and additional electronics for solely mechanic solutions using only air.

Furthermore, rotation can free up equipment and labor costs: it eliminates the need for
two robots on either side of the conveyor, and frees up workers for more valuable actions.

VERSATILITY

While these solutions are often utilized in the automotive industry – a small spray cell rotates so a
single robot can paint all sides, before sending to blowoff condensation and drying – rotation can
be utilized in any system. For instance, the door and window industry utilizes rotation for finishing
applications, and we developed an auto-tote rotation to allow operators ergonomic access for loading and unloading.

Each solution is completely customizable to your situation, and each of our systems can be easily adapted for rotation and indexing:

With ZigZag chain conveyors, various styles of rotation pendants allow for free spin,
90 degree indexing, or a powered rotator that engages at a trigger point.

With TwinTrak and OveRWay, we utilize free spin and index rotation on the fly.

With inverted floor conveyors like MonoCart, we create a system that locks the
rotational part of the carrier in place, then rotates at the correct station.
